President Donald Trump took questions from reporters ahead of a meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Oval Office on Wednesday, July 22. Trump spoke at length about how the U.S. and Pakistan could work together in the war in Afghanistan. Trump said he could end the war within a week, but does not “want to kill 10 million people” in doing so. Trump also slammed Democrats ahead of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s hearing on the Russia investigation later in the week and said he would not be watching the testimony.
