Imran Khan went from being the flamboyant cricketer who captained Pakistan, to leading his country as its Prime Minister.
But in April, less than four years after being elected on a wave of popular support, he was unceremoniously thrown out of office in a no-confidence vote.
Tonight, Imran Khan is speaking out, in an interview for News at Ten with Adil Ray.
He claims America orchestrated his downfall, after he went ahead with a meeting with President Putin on the day Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine.
He also suggested women in neighbouring Afghanistan could somehow overturn the restrictions now placed on their lives by the Taliban.
